The entrepreneurial journey is a roller coaster of highs and lows. It takes creativity, passion, and maybe even a little naivety to take the leap and forge your own path. Whether you’re solving an industry pain point or pursuing an audacious dream, the road is challenging and full of lessons to be learned.
The good news? You don’t have to do it alone. Queue the Venture Acceleration Program (VAP). This six-month program is designed to support committed entrepreneurs who are ready to validate their business model and find product-market fit.
Last August, we welcomed several new companies to our Summer cohort. This virtual cohort-style learning allowed participants to build life-long relationships with their peers as they worked together through the startup process and engaged with experienced mentors.
We are thrilled to see these companies graduate from the program and continue on their entrepreneurial journey. So here’s to the road ahead and a job well done.
“VAP has helped me turn a back-of-the-napkin idea into a structured business and gave me confidence in such an unpredictable area.”
“The quality and affordability of the support provided has far exceeded my expectations. This program will have more impact on my business than anything else I’ve tried.”
“The program has been integral to the significant personal and professional growth I’ve experienced over the better part of the last year.”
“The benefits I have derived from the program will last me a lifetime and I intend to use them to be a better leader in all spheres of my community, even beyond my own startup.”
“The cohorts, mentorship, and community connections were invaluable to my company and team. No matter where you are in your entrepreneurial journey, Accelerate Okanagan has many resources available to you.”

“The Venture Accelerator Program has been instrumental in helping us answer the core foundational questions for our business that we need in order to be successful.”
