Let's TalkLearn About The VIEW
HISTORY IN THE MAKING
The Vernon Innovation & Entrepreneur Workspace was born out of a grassroots movement to accelerate the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the North Okanagan. The goal was to create a centrally located innovation hub where entrepreneurs and businesses can connect, collaborate and commercialize their ideas. Over the years, this initiative has been driven by many partners including local business owners, community members, the City of Vernon, and Community Futures of the North Okanagan.
Support and funding provided by Community Futures of the North Okanagan and Western Economic Diversification have brought this initiative to fruition.

What is The VIEW?
The Vernon Innovation & Entrepreneur Workspace is a community workspace for entrepreneurs and founders to work, collaborate, grow their network, and access community resources and support in building their business. Learn more on The VIEW website, www.vernoninnovation.com.
Who operates The VIEW?
The VIEW is rooted in community collaboration. Started as an economic development investment by Community Futures North Okanagan, Accelerate Okanagan was brought on to oversee day-to-day operations including tenancy, events, and programming. Our North Okanagan Community Lead works from The VIEW to connect you with services, supports, and referrals for your business.
Who can work at The VIEW?
The VIEW is an open office space where founders, entrepreneurs, small teams, service providers, students, and remote workers can rent full-time desks or private office space. Hot-desking packages are available for a more flexible option. Our tenants are innovative, choose collaboration over competition, ask questions, and are generous with referrals and solicited advice. While organic networking happens naturally, The VIEW is not a place to sell your products or services to our tenants.
Do I have to be a tenant to use The VIEW?
The VIEW is an innovation centre which offers co-working as one of the many programs and services for local entrepreneurs. Connect with our North Okanagan Community Lead to learn more about the resources, programming, mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities that are available to you.
What meeting facilities do you offer? Can I book a meeting room?
Our meeting space consists of two small meeting rooms (max. occupancy of 4) and one medium-sized boardroom (max. occupancy 12). Our boardroom is a flexible multi-use space which can be used for meetings, brainstorming sessions, or classroom-style workshops and is equipped as a Zoom Room for video conference calls.
Can I get a mailing address at The VIEW?
All of our tenancy options, including full-time, hot-desking, and private office rentals, allow you to use our mailing address for your business.
Where can I park?
There are two city parking lots and a private (Impark) lot within a block of our downtown location that offer hourly, daily, and monthly parking rates. For short visits of two hours or less, you can use the metered street parking. There is also a city bike-lock post located next to our building.
