Mental Health Matters

5 May 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Mental Health Matters will provide an opportunity for folks to learn about themselves, hear inspiring stories, increase awareness of community resources, and leave feeling empowered to take control of their well-being.

Join us for FREE and in-person on Thursday, May 5th for community speakers, discussion panels, mental health talks, and well-being fair!

What to expect!

Mental Health Matters will consist of two parts: A Well-being Fair and Mental Health Matters Discussions.

  • Well-being Fair: Our Well-being Fair is open to anyone and everyone (no registration needed) from 4 – 6:30pm. The fair will host over 10 different community organisations that play a role in supporting well-being – be that mental health support, building personal connection and belonging, physical health, and more! You’ll have the opportunity the roam the fair, talk with different organisations and see what resources they offer! No registration required.
  • Mental Health Matters Discussions: Also open to anyone and everyone, but we ask that you please register. This part of the event will take place 5 – 7:30 pm, and will involve bringing together community speakers to talk on three different topics related to mental health. We’ll be releasing our speaker lineup soon! Free registration is required due to limited capacity.

Whether you are attending everything, or just parts of the fair you will experience: stories that inspire, community building, mental health information, and resource sharing and knowledge. All of these are at the heart of Mental Health Matters.

Who are the vendors and the speakers?

We’ll start announcing these details April 1st!
