On June 23rd, we invite you to join us for a unique pitch event focused on the affordability of the Okanagan’s housing market.

Teams from the Hacking Housing Hackathon will be presenting their innovative solutions and business ideas that they developed throughout the day. These teams have come together from a variety of backgrounds to find creative solutions to this systemic challenge. They will be pitching their ideas to a panel of judges who are experts in their field. Those judges will then have the difficult task of reviewing the ideas and deciding on the winning team.

During the event, attendees will hear from Paula Quinn, the Executive Director of the KF Aerospace Centre for Excellence, a not-for-profit society. She will take to the stage to discuss the critical impact affordable housing has on our ability to attract and retain talent in the Okanagan.

About Paula Quinn

Paula is responsible for the successful management and operations of the KF Aerospace Centre for Excellence. She also sits on the Board of Directors and participates in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the Society to achieve its purpose. Paula’s mandate includes developing the Society with best practices in leadership, self-education, operational planning and management, corporate duties, HR, financial planning, and risk management.
