One of the core benefits of being an Accelerate Okanagan Member is getting access to our workspaces in both Kelowna and Vernon at a discounted rate. Accelerate Okanagan’s main office is located in downtown Kelowna on the second floor of the Innovation Centre. Our North Okanagan office space, The VIEW, is located in the heart of Vernon downtown next to Marten Brewing. At both of these offices, you can rent a desk by the month or book a meeting room if you are just looking for a workspace for the a day or even a few hours.
You also have access to our lounge in our Kelowna office during business hours where we are constantly seeing new connections and collaborations blossom. The lounge is open for members to use if they need a new environment to work in or to enjoy a cup of coffee in good company.
If you haven’t already noticed, a lot is happening in #OKGNtech! Our team is committed to curating the most important and relevant events for our members on our Events Calendar. We want our members to get top priority when it comes to participating in any Accelerate Okanagan events. One of our goals at Accelerate Okanagan is to empower entrepreneurs and develop successful companies through our comprehensive programs. Our Executives-in-Residence (EiR) team is available to support entrepreneurs in validating their target market, expanding their growth, and achieving long-term sustainability. The EiR’s approach involves individualized business coaching, peer-to-peer interactions, access to vital resources, and specialized training sessions facilitated by industry experts. These experts are available to our Accelerate Okanagan Members through our Startup Basics program, which is complimentary for members.
Accelerate Okanagan member perks can pay for the entire membership fee, and then some. We have connected our members with KPMG and Lawson Lundell so they can get complimentary expert financial and legal advice for their startup. There is also an incredible amount of discounts offered for software like Hubspot, a CRM and marketing platform that saves companies thousands of dollars. As well as Stripe, a payment processor that waives $600 worth of its fees for our members. Jelly Academy also offers free online marketing training exclusively for AO members.
On top of all the discounts and free programs, one of our most popular perks is access to talent. AO members can post unlimited jobs to our board for free, upgrade to premium listings at a discount, and get access to the entire #OKGNtech resume bank. We make finding talent easy.
