The Level Up Local is back again for a third year, supporting small businesses in the Okanagan Valley.
The Level Up Local technology grants—which is a collaborative program between Prospera Credit Union and Accelerate Okanagan—aims to give businesses a boost when it comes to their digital tools and strategies. Whether it’s optimizing SEO, creating social media campaigns, developing and improving websites, or investing in technology hardware and software upgrades, this grants is designed to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce barriers for growing companies.
On top of receiving the grant funding, participants will also have access to mentorship opportunities through Accelerate Okanagan and the local business expert team at Prospera Credit Union, who offer tailored advice and financial solutions to businesses at various stages. Regardless of if a business is starting up, growing, thriving, or planning for succession, they can meet with someone locally for a free financial consultation and second opinion on their current banking needs.

Since it’s launch in 2022, the program has already benefited over 50 business owners across the Okanagan. The initiative provides essential assistance to local businesses, helping them overcome economic challenges and adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape. Prospera hopes that businesses receiving the grant will utilize the funds to develop creative and innovative digital strategies that resonate with local communities and align with their goals and growth targets.
