The OKGN Angel Summit is back for its fifth year! If you haven’t heard of it, the OKGN Angel Summit is an elevated pitch program that is designed to connect entrepreneurs and new investors. Throughout this 10-week program both the participating companies and investors will receive training in the capital-raising process setting them up for success at the Summit and in future investments. At the end of the program the top 6 companies will pitch live at the public finale, and the investors will determine which finalist will receive an investment of up to $250k.

1. Pitch for Capital
This is for you if:
You are an early-stage company that is located within Western Canada (as far east as Manitoba and Northwest Territories), and you are currently seeking early-stage investment.
Entrepreneurs will learn how to create a strong pitch, build their data rooms, and clean up their term sheets. Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to put this knowledge into practice as they develop their pitch, and build relationships with the investors. Companies who apply before the early-bird deadline will have the opportunity to receive feedback on their application, and make any edits before the final deadline. All of this support will result in one company taking home up to $250k in investment at the live finale.
2. Join the Fund
This is for you if:
You are a new or experienced investor looking to learn more about investment in startups. Individuals must be or be able to become accredited in order to participate.
Angel Summit investors will each contribute $5k to the investment fund, and they will receive training and guidance on the investment and due-diligence process. The goal of the Summit is to provide local investors with the opportunity to put their learning into practice throughout the 10-week program by vetting companies, providing feedback, and building relationships with early-stage entrepreneurs and other investors.
3. Make it Happen
This is for you if:
You are an established company or organization located within Western Canada, and are passionate about supporting the capital ecosystem.

4. Attend the Finale
This is for you if:
You are a community member who is looking to make in-person connections with entrepreneurs, investors, and the OKGNtech community.
We are excited to invite community members to attend the live public finale on March 16th. At the finale, attendees will have the opportunity to watch the top 6 companies pitch for the investment. Attendees will also be able to enjoy the full in person experience with networking breaks, a keynote presentation, food, and beverages. At the finale attendees will also be able to have their voices heard by voting for the People’s Choice Award. We can’t wait to see you there.
