by Blue Button Technologies Corp (https://www.bluebuttontechnologies.com/ ) is a new series of networked PLCs covering a much wider range of end uses than traditional PLCs, besides synchronized multi-motor-type motor control, such as ECG / EKG; battery backup enables portable units.  Born out of the need for an inexpensive way to create a low cost wheelchair based cobot arm, this three year journey has resulted in the Chameleon netPLC series.

Blue Button does all its design and manufacturing in-house including the cases (for cost and agility).  We do little software and then only to facilitate our testing and to provide an easy onramp for customers.  It self-tests right out of the box, with the connectors wired, and displays test results on a monitor.  It can be stand alone or be part of a larger network, with WiFi, Ethernet, 2 x LoRa, RS485, HMI connector, ADC, DAC, solenoid drivers, and 10 x GPIO all in the ‘brain’ unit.  The series can be extended by the system bus for local modules using I2C, SPI and RS485 for ‘smart’ slaves.  Also planned is a series of solar modules using LoRa or WiFi,  for use in Green Houses or Vineyards.

We are small, but agile, and very fast at developing new hardware.  Although our brain units are identical in features they differ in the CPU, RP2040, ESP32, and ATMega2560, and are intended for use with the large C and C++ libraries   These facilitate the development, be used with Arduino and similar platforms, specifically leveraging them to offer new modules upon request.  We have very competitive pricing and ship free worldwide by DHL to ethical countries.
