As a tight-knit and growing team based in the vibrant Innovation Center in downtown Kelowna, BC, we’re seeking a dynamic individual to join us as we continue to expand.

The Role

This role is full time, Monday – Friday. We are a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in the office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) with optional remote days (Wednesday, Friday). You will need to be located in the Kelowna area and be able to reliably commute into the office downtown Kelowna in the Innovation Center.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support a team of two SDRs providing training, coaching, and guidance to help them improve their sales skills and achieve their targets
  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to maximize lead generation and conversion
  • Monitor and report on team performance to the Director of Sales
  • Implement new processes and tools to improve department performance
  • Proactively engage prospects and create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Utilize various tools and strategies to identify and research potential prospects
  • Engage in outbound prospecting through emails, phone calls, and social selling to initiate conversations and build interest in Minga
  • Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence with contacts, multi-threading and nurturing relationships
  • Use your strong prospecting and selling skills to set up qualified meetings for our AE Team
  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline in a sustainable way
  • Engage with our website visitors and inbound leads
  • Think of new creative ways to improve the prospecting process to increase results and provide ongoing feedback to Sales Management

Your Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a high performing SDR in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize processes
  • Bonus points for experience in education tech
  • Bonus points for experience using HubSpot
  • Growth mindset and a positive attitude
  • Goal-oriented, high-energy contributor with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Comfortable with phone-based outreach
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to deliver results
  • Curiosity about software products and comfort working with them
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
