The Opportunity:
This is an amazing opportunity for an analytical, curious and driven performance marketer to join our team at Pela Case. The Paid Media Manager will be responsible for driving efficient new customer acquisition across our paid media channels, leading all aspects of the funnel. You will lead the strategic planning, buying, optimization and overall management of these highly important channels, ensuring we’re scaling and growing our ad activity in a smart, and agile way. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing to define growth strategies, target audiences, manage paid media campaigns, and report findings back to the broader team with the ultimate goal of driving growth across our brand.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead planning, buying, optimization and strategy of all paid channel activity (via paid social ads, and other relevant platforms), applying a critical, quantitative eye to ensure we’re hitting or exceeding new customer and revenue goals.
  • Lead experimentation and coordinate with the rest of the growth/marketing team to test variations of ads, landing pages, ad creative and other campaigns to improve performance.
  • Manage day-to-day analysis, optimizations and bid management of campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand & Creative teams to create and test performance ad copy and ad creative ensuring we’re maximizing conversion rate while also adhering to brand positioning and guidelines.
  • Remain current on emerging ad units and drive new processes and specs when necessary.
  • Prepare regular reporting to share constant feedback including but not limited to Thumbstop rate, CPA, CTR, conversion rate and overall performance to the Brand & Design teams in order to inform copy testing and creative iterations.
  • Source necessary tools and resources, collaborate with agencies and cross-functionally in order to best manage your function.
  • Responsible for regular reporting of the channels, ensuring the digestibility and timeliness of key metrics and performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide input to forecast and plan forward-looking performance targets and budgets.
  • Support major campaigns, product launches, and cross-functional milestones alongside the broader Marketing team.
  • Manage and track creative testing and iteration process.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in a Growth/Performance Manager, User Acquisition, or Demand Gen role
  • 5+ years experience in setting up paid ads and managing media spend on Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, etc.
  • Fluency in testing tools, third-party attribution tools, audience segmentation strategies, and aligning audiences to objectives
  • You’re a problem solver and a fast mover.
  • You can achieve results independently, but love collaborating to brainstorm when needed
  • Analytical nature and a strong understanding of ad metrics. You’ve run A/B tests, and are comfortable reporting and building dashboards to show CAC, RoAS, etc.
  • Fluent understanding of standard ad operations (e.g. traffic metrics, pixels, data tracking)
  • Experience running SEM (Google, Bing, etc.) campaigns would be a plus.

Compensation $69-89K CAD
