True Confessions of Charles Chang, Co-Founder of Vega Protein & Lyra Growth Partners

Join entrepreneur and investor Charles Chang as he shares his True Confessions at Social Venture Institute. Charles will share the true story behind his non-linear early career (a fisherman at heart!), how he founded Vega Protein from his garage funded by credit cards, and how he eventually scaled the company to exit for $550 million USD.

A true success story from British Columbia, Charles ensured that the business would remain in BC even after he left the company.

Charles is behind numerous successful ventures, including VEGA, Lyra Growth Partners, Powerplay Young Entrepreneurs, and the Charles Chang Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Simon Fraser University.
