Breaking Barriers for People with Disabilities (English)

Procurement Assistance Canada(PAC) Pacific is partnering with Community Futures Entrepreneurs with Disabilities and Neil Squire to deliver a Small Business Information Expo (SBIE) panel on Breaking Barriers for People with Disabilities. Government and non-profits have a lot of support for small businesses, and the range of programs and information can feel overwhelming. During this panel, experts will share information on selling to the Government of Canada, business coaching, training, and other services designed to enable people with disabilities to achieve their goals.

Procurement Assistance Canada (PAC)
Procurement Assistance Canada assists small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in better understanding how the government buys goods and services. PAC raises awareness of opportunities, providing assistance in the form of information sessions, and educates SMEs on how to navigate federal procurement.
Community Futures Entrepreneurs with Disabilities program
Community Futures BC offers two Entrepreneurial Development Programs for Persons with Disabilities. These two programs provide business coaching and training as well as other resources to individuals who self declare with a disability, own an existing business, or have a viable business idea.
Neil Squire
Neil Squire has been revolutionizing the lives of Canadians with disabilities since 1984 through accessible technology. Their work is focused on four distinct areas: Innovation, Digital Literacy, Employment, and Assistive Technology. Neil Squire offers a variety of programs and services designed to enable people with disabilities to achieve their goals, reach their full potential, and continue living life to the fullest.
