An entrepreneur herself, Sahar co-founded Fundica, an award-winning funding search solution that connects small businesses to relevant funding opportunities. Sahar is also a Founding Member and Executive of the Montreal chapter of Women of MENA in Technology and a Mentor for both the McGill X-1 Accelerator and V1 Studio.

Sahar attended McGill University and Concordia University where she received her Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees, respectively. She is also a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
