The Vernon Innovation & Entrepreneur Workspace official opens today! Community Futures North Okanagan and Accelerate Okanagan can’t wait for the energy of its first tour guests and tenants in downtown Vernon!
Waiting to greet you at The VIEW is Jessica Wicks, Accelerate Okanagan’s North Okanagan Community Lead. She will be your connection to Accelerate Okanagan in Vernon.
Jessica likes to surround herself with innovators and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs create tech-enabled solutions that allow them to rethink the future of their industries. Prior to joining Team AO, Jessica worked full-time in both post-secondary education and tourism, as well as within a range of industries as an independent marketing and communications consultant.
Thanks to Community Futures of the North Okanagan, alongside local community stakeholders, The VIEW (Vernon Innovation & Entrepreneur Workspace) will offer a flexible office space where tenants and community members can access mentorship, support services, collaborate with other members of the tech community, and a point-of-connection for the greater business community. Tech and tech-enabled businesses in the North Okanagan will also be able to get direct access to Accelerate Okanagan’s resources and accelerator programs such as VAP, RevUP and W Venture.
