On January 18th you’re invited to Accelerate Okanagan’s annual New Year Kick Off (or NYKO, as we like to call it). This year’s game-day-inspired New Year event is all about celebrating the Okanagan tech industry and cheering on your fellow community members who are doing great things. Come mingle, get a high five, make memories, and bowl the night away with the Okanagan tech industry.
Hosted at the legendary BNA Brewing Co & Eatery, this 19+ networking event is one you don’t want to miss. DJ Invisible will be playing hits you can dance to, Wolfette Events has created a themed portrait studio, and you won’t forget the game-day-inspired menu from the talented team at BNA. Get ready to enjoy all the classics like corndogs, tacos and sport-themed cocktails & mocktails (dietary-friendly options provided). Once you have fuelled yourself with food and drinks, you can also enjoy bocce, the game zone and the dance floor.
Lastly, you may be wondering what to wear! Dress up or dress down, this is your chance to bust out your favourite team or company merch, or wear your brand colors! We want to see that new and retro company swag at this year’s event. Jerseys and baseball shirts are welcome as well. It’s all about showing your sense of team spirit in any aspect of your life be it tech, sports, chess, or hobbies alike.
