On October 26, AO hosted an Annual General Meeting for the Board of Directors and its members. This event gives us the opportunity to reflect on how Accelerate Okanagan has supported the growth and achievements of the Okanagan tech community over the past year. At the AGM, our members elect new directors to replace the board members whose terms are ending. We would like to take a moment to acknowledge our outgoing board members Phil Ashman, Tanja Halsall, Buffy Mills, and Sally Powell. Thank you for your time and dedication to Accelerate Okanagan and the Okanagan tech community. Your impact on the community will continue to be felt for years to come.
This year’s Board of Directors will consist of both new and returning members, and we are fortunate to have 15 directors supporting our organization. This diverse group of skilled professionals have a wealth of experience and are committed to supporting us and the community through the next chapter of growth. We are looking forward to the year ahead and are thrilled to introduce the Accelerate Okanagan Board of Directors for 2023/2024 to our community.
