Three Cheers For New Year Kick Off 2024! Featured Image
Hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray!

The Okanagan tech community knocked it out of the park at New Year Kick Off 2024! Hosted at BNA Brewery on January 18, this year was all about celebrating the touchdowns and home runs in the Okanagan tech industry. We know that entrepreneurship can come with long hours, project pivots and a never give up attitude, and this event is just one way to congratulate all that the community has accomplished. 

Let’s take a recap moment and look at the awesome plays that happened at BNA this year.

Folks fuelled up with a game-day-inspired menu and stayed hydrated with signature cocktails and mocktails. DJ Invizible got the team spirit going with all the classic arena-themed jams. We love a little friendly competition, attendees had their chance to win big at bowling, bocce, and in the Game Zone powered by ATB Wealth.

We rolled out the astroturf and busted out the vintage sports gear for attendees to show their best game-day faces in our custom built portrait studio, sponsored annually by our friends at Kimmit Wrzesniewski. The laughter and sheer fun coming really filled the space with that OKGNtech camaraderie.

New Year Kick Off has been a key community tech event in the Okanagan for the past 11 years.  This event wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our amazing sposors. BIG shout out goes to the champions who truly make it happen; Kimmit Wrzesniewski, ATB Wealth, FH&P Lawyers, Prospera Credit Union, Kelowna Film Studios, YLW Airport, Pela, Lomi, Rainstick, and  Law Office of S. Grynwajc.
