The 6th annual Okanagan Angel Summit is underway. The investor group has selected the Top 12 companies that will pitch at the Semi-Finals.
The companies participating in this Okanagan Angel Summit have been narrowed down by the angel investors. 12 companies will be pitch the Semi Finals this week, delivering a 10 minute pitch, followed by Q&A. This time allows for the investors to get a more in depth look at the business before they will have to select the Top 6 who will pitch live at the Public Finale on May 23 for an investment of $195,000.

If you are just learning about our Okanagan Angel Summit, it is an 8-week program where accredited investors are introduced to the world of angel investing through a guided, hands-on process where a small venture capital fund is raised, deals are screened, and an actual investment in a company is made. This process provides the participating companies with additional training leading up to the Finale where they with a chance to learn how businesses are vetted, perform due diligence, and make improvements on their pitch week.
