The OKGN Angel Summit is back for its fourth year with new opportunities to learn, invest and pitch. The Summit is a 10-week program where investors and companies from all walks of life are guided through the capital raising process. The Summit is an opportunity to make connections, investments, and strengthen the capital ecosystem in Western Canada.
Change only happens through participation. And I believe it’s important to support entrepreneurs who are tackling issues of equity and diversity. If you want to participate in creating positive change in the world, I encourage you to join the 2022 Summit.
Curated training is provided to both investors and companies leading up to and throughout the program. This increases confidence and knowledge of the investment process so that both parties are properly prepared when it comes time to make a deal.
By the end of the 10 weeks, the number of pitching companies is whittled down to the top 24, 12 and then the final 6. The 6 finalists will then pitch to an audience of community members and investors at a public grand finale. After the pitches, the investors will vote and a winner will be chosen to receive an investment fund of up to $150,000.00.

This year, we want to support our neighbouring regions and communities, so we are inviting companies from across Western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and the Yukon) to participate in the 2022 OKGN Angel Summit.
For Investors
The cost to participate in the OKGN Angel Summit as an investor is $5,500. This includes a $5,000 investment in the 2022 fund and $500 used for legal and administrative costs. Cheques are due December 20, 2021.

The cost to participate in the OKGN Angel Summit as a company is $199 if purchased on or before December 10, or if you are an Accelerate Okanagan member, and $299 if purchased after December 10. Applications close December 31, 2021.
