Our October Startup Showcase will be co-hosted with our friends at BEBC, an organized, unified voice advocating for and supporting Black entrepreneurs and businesses in Canada. We are excited to join forces with BEBC to support and feature Black entrepreneurs from across the province of BC.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT

Get ready to meet six up-and-coming entrepreneurs, and gain valuable insights from a panel of industry and subject matter experts. Curious about the art of investor pitching? Be ready to take notes!

As an attendee, you will have access to:

• Q&As, Audience Voting, and in-session chat;
• Speaker and pitcher profiles, and;
• the opportunity to DM whoever you’d like.

If you haven’t been to a Buzzit-hosted event before, this is a fantastic Vancouver-born event platform that puts the audience first. You will be able to access all profiles before the event, pre-submit questions, and even return after the event has finished to remind yourself of who was there and what you were chatting about in the DM’s.

INTERESTED IN PITCHING??

You will have 3 minutes to present your startup pitch in front of a panel of investors and industry experts, and audience.

The panel has 5 minutes to ask questions and provide strategic feedback, and you will have the chance to earn a cash prize ($500) and in kind rewards from local sponsors.

Pitch spots are open to Black founders and Black-led startups from across British Columbia.
