As esports and gaming organizations continue to develop and build brand influence, I’m excited to introduce the PLAYR platform as a key partner, capable of supporting their growth strategy,” says Ryan.

“Ryan is a fantastic addition to our team who will lead the next stage of growth for our partnership and revenue strategy,” says Austin Walper, CEO of PLAYR.gg. “As a startup headquartered in Kelowna, it’s crucial for us to have a leadership team with deep roots in the global gaming ecosystem and this is a key element that Ryan brings to the table.”

Founded in 2017 in Kelowna, British Columbia by Austin Walper, PLAYR.gg is a viral marketing platform for gaming brands and content creators to effectively grow their audience and create measurable sponsorship ROI through giveaways. To date, Austin and his team have made a big entrance into the gaming ecosystem, working with companies such as Electronic Arts, Amazon, Bud Light, GFUEL, SCUF Gaming, and many more. With the acquisition of Ryan Musselman, they are well-positioned to drive future growth.

Since founding the company nearly 3 years ago, Walper has been representing the business on the international stage by speaking at key events such as TwitchCon, E3, PAX, SXSW, and CES; and working with thousands of gaming content creators across Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and Facebook. PLAYR.gg has seen a surge in business due to the recent increase of virtual content being created amidst COVID-19.
