With systems, processes and structures failing locally and on a global scale, there is a growing realization of system vulnerabilities and the limitations of free-market capitalism as we know it. This is evidenced by our unpreparedness for the pandemic and a long list of system failures ranging from systemic racial, gender and national prejudices to impacts on the planet. While tragic, COVID-19 provides an opportunity to reshape our future. Rather than going back to the status quo, we can:

• Reflect on healthy values, beliefs and relationships

• Inspire and embrace new thinking

• Mobilize collaborative action to fix systems in urgent need of repair

• Enable and rebuild trust by doing the right thing for people and planet
