The Community Futures Development Corporation of the Central Okanagan is a federally incorporated non profit established in 1990. The organization is governed by a volunteer board of local business people and community leaders. Community Futures contributes to the social and economic well being of the Central Okanagan by providing small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs access to services tailored to their individual needs with financing up to $150,000, the Self Employment Program, the Business Plan Development Program and a Business Development Workshop Series. From financing to training programs, Community Futures is a full support centre for new and existing businesses.
