Platinum Recruiting has an exciting opportunity working with an innovative company that has been operating Canada wide for 30 years! Our client is looking for a Shipper and Receiver that is wanting to develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities by working closely with the Branch Manager. If you are a team player that is hard-working, dedicated, and eager to learn, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Review incoming and outgoing shipments
- Check all packaging for damage
- Compare, count, and verify information on packing slips
- Complete bills of lading, packing slips, and address labels
- Operate forklift and order picker
- Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks
- Restock inventory as needed
- Use in-house stock system
Education and Qualifications:
- Warehouse or industry related experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds
