Acro Media is seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our team. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3 – 5 Product Owners who work closely with our clients to build their e-commerce solutions. Additionally, you fulfill the Product Owner role on our 6 person product team, identifying and understanding our team’s needs and the larger business objectives that our products and services will fulfill.

As the successful candidate, here are some things you’ll be responsible for:

  • Fulfill the Product Owner role on our 6 person product development team, understand and identify our team’s needs and the larger business objectives that our products and services will fulfill.
    • Define, prioritize, and manage product features, stories, and use cases in the product backlog.
    • Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, including working with the product team to detail the product roadmap and launches
    • Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform product decisions.
    • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective product messaging and positioning.
    • Work with marketing to characterize to help differentiate our products and services from our competitors.
    • Develop go-to-market strategies for new product or process launches.
    • Develop and maintain support and product documentation.
    • Identify market trends and opportunities to inform product development decisions.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead a team of 3-5 Product Owners in developing solutions and delivering e-commerce projects for our clients.
    • Coach and mentor Product Owners to develop their skills and grow in their careers.
    • Assist in the recruitment, selection, training, onboarding, and management of production team members.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our client’s businesses, industries, and competitive landscapes.
    • Document and uphold policy and procedures to support ongoing operations.
    • Provide direction and hands-on support during client escalations and project issues.
    • Create and monitor resource assignments to ensure revenue targets will be met.
    • Act as interim Product Owner on projects when needed.

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, and operations management or another closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset
  2. PMP and/or certifications in agile, PMP, and scrum (ex: PMI-ACP or CSPO) is considered an asset
  3. Minimum of 3 years experience managing products within a client services organization in a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner capacity
  4. Minimum of 2 years working experience working in an agile environment
  5. Experience leading and managing teams
  6. Strong change management capabilities and capacity
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Strong problem-solving skills to clear roadblocks and resolve issues, embrace agile thinking and ways of working to be flexible and adaptable
  9. An excellent internet connection is required; you must be able to sustain an hour-long conference call without any issues
