Entrepreneurial Sales Professional

Koenders Water Solutions is looking for an entrepreneurial-spirited sales professional who may have experience in the public works, water management, sewage lagoon sector and who is interested in building out a business while being paid and treated as a partner as opposed to an employee.

Koenders Water Solutions Inc is a leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly, natural water treatment technologies and equipment with over 100,000 customers, across 30 countries around the world.

Job Focus & Duties:

  • Spearhead and exponentially grow our presence and sales in the Public Works & Utilities sector across North America, namely Stormwater Management, Sewage Lagoon treatment, recreational and municipal-run golf course ponds.
  • Educate decision influencers and makers about our company and the environmental, fiscal and community benefits of our unique ‘3-step program’ solutions to look after bodies of water.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Build up a dealer and agent partnership network to broaden sector opportunities
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing and researching sector trends, thinking, best practice, legislation, and product information
  • Work with Marketing team to develop sector-specific digital content, tailored Program and product collateral to support sales and CRM activities
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, work plans, monthly and annual sector / territory analyses.
  • Other duties as assigned to contribute to team success

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of successful B2B selling and relationship development
  • Driven self-starter, action oriented, effective use of consulting skills
  • Superior knowledge of sales process including cold-calling, networking, lead generation, with the ability to capture and close deals
  • Knowledge of Public Works, Water treatment technologies and management is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, with proven ability to explain complex concepts and solutions in a simplified logical manner.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM systems considered an asset
  • Usual computer skills required including email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

This position is full time, office based.

Compensation : Koenders Water Solutions offers an attractive base salary plus commission.
