Someone that has been around the block and understands the importance of consistent prospecting activities. You can build a strong rapport and bond with people over the phone, via email, and in person. You strive to help prospect’s by identifying pain points and delivering the best solutions that can increase their ROI.

As the successful candidate, here are some things you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the planning, implementing and execution of business infrastructure and processes for the Sales department
  • Responsible for budget development and management, staffing, resources and reporting for their department
  • Meet individual and team based sales targets and quotas
  • Set proper expectations for team with the aim to deliver on time
  • Think on their feet and demonstrate exceptional problem solving skills
  • Can self motivate and keep themselves disciplined, as well as others
  • Control and close deals effectively
  • Build strong rapport with teammates, keeping moral high as well building rapport with clients and prospects via phone, email, and in person
  • Keep themselves and their team organized using the CRM software
  • Prioritize down to an art; you will always have too much to do, so what needs to be done first?
  • Work cross functionally with other Directors to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Work towards win/win relationships
  • Actively hunt for new business growth opportunities
  • Handle rejection and not let it affect their work
  • Demonstrating accountability through and through. We all make mistakes, we need a teammate that can own it, learn from it, and improve from it. No excuses. The blame game doesn’t fly around here
  • On top of the details. You don’t roll your eyes at the paperwork. We need a thinker and a doer.
  • Seamlessly nurturing our clients into the next phase of their project – equipping our clients and our teams with the right information.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or similar field
  • Established industry relationships and experience working with executive level business and marketing leaders within client organizations
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Strong negotiating skills and the ability to research new business growth opportunities
  • Excellent people skills and account management abilities are a must
  • The ability to identify a problem before it becomes a big issue.
  • Experience with software like Jira, Git, communication systems (Sysco, Slack, MatterMost, G-suite, Zoom, Hangouts), and HR software (Bamboo HR, Moodle) a plus
