Platinum Recruiting is working with a highly trained and experienced team of dental professionals in the Okanagan. Located in Kelowna, BC our client is looking to add an energetic and driven Care Coordinator to their team! Working Monday to Friday, the Care Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of patient intake including:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact, answering phones, greeting patients upon arrival
  • Answer emails and coordinate all ingoing and outgoing mail, packages, or faxes
  • Provide exceptional patient care answering all questions and concerns
  • Coordinate referrals
  • Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information of patients
  • Assist patients in completing intake forms and medical history
  • Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments
  • Colleting payment and insurance claims
  • Provide admin support to the office director
  • Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
  • Maintaining a professional work environment

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Previous administrative or reception experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Data entry and computer literacy
  • Willingness to learn on and off the job
