After Care Director



Springfield Funeral Home (SFH) has been serving the Kelowna and Okanagan Valley with care and compassion since 1981 and continues to see growth. We are seeking an After Care Director to join our team part-time (1-2 days per week) to work in tandem with our other team members. The successful candidate must be highly personable, compassionate, pay attention to detail and computer savvy. If full-time is preferred this position could be supplemented on the administrative team.


A Day In the Life of Our After Care Director

On any typical day, you will follow up with client families after the funeral, provide information and resources, and assist the families with completing the required forms to notify government agencies, cancel services and apply for any possible benefits. You will also serve as an ambassador for SFH assisting with other duties in the team.

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate is someone who has served and supported others in the past, has worked in an office environment and has good organizational skills including prioritization, time management, etc. This role needs someone who has a strong sense of personal accountability, is reliable and dependable and enjoys working in a professional office environment.
